Last week I loved...

More like two weeks ago, but .. Two weeks ago I celebrated my 19th birthday. I was told by one of my good friends, to spend the last few minutes of my 18th year doing something special. I had about 13 minutes to quickly do something spontaneous and outrageous. The best I could think of was dancing with my music on full blast in the kitchen, waiting for that clock to strike midnight. What a way to spend my last few minutes being 18. That was just the start...

Well technically no, the Wednesday before my birthday, specifically the 14th of April, my work mates organized a little get together, cake, movie night. It made my day considering, I had an exam to do during the day. But pretty much I got to Westpoint (yes I am officially a Blacktown bum now) and hung around a bit with one of my ex-workmates, actually two of my ex-workmates and my manager. Around 6 when they all finished work, all my work mates stayed behind to see my blow my cake out. They are seriously the nicest people EVER! I've been there for only 5 months and they did something that nice for me =).

April 16. Yes, I was back in Westpoint bumming with the same workmates, but that wasn't the highlight of my night. SUPAFEST SUPAFEST SUPAFEST!!! FUCKING BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!

Jay Sean, random boy in a turban dancing with Eve on stage, Pitbull, Akon, confetti, me half passing out during Sean Paul, watching drunk little teenies dancing hardout to Akon, hundreds of people chanting Akon and happy birthday (oh yeah I share the same birthday as Akon, HOW AWESOME!!!), it was officially the best night of my life.

April 17. I went out for dinner with my high school friends in the city at Hurricanes. NICEST RIBS EVER!!! LOL, I tried my first taste of sangria. Not bad, I must say. Then again I'm not a red wine type of person. It was really nice to finally catch up with my high school friends. I've missed them so much, and with all the little dramas that went down, I was happy to see everyone still one big family.

Yesterday I got a book in the mail from my workmates (repeat, those people are some of the most amazing people on the EARTH!). The book had all these little messages from my closest friends at work and pictures of the 5 months that I had spent with them. Mum was watching me read the book over and over again, and she laughed because I was starting to get all teary.

That one week was honestly, the best and most memorable birthday of my life =) .. thank you to everyone that shared the week with me

We Are The World - 25 for Haiti

I was reading through some of the comments written by "fans" on youtube that watched this video. Most of them seemed to complain about the addition of some certain musicians like T-Pain, Lil Wayne and most of all, Justin Beiber. Seriously people! STOP BEING SELFISH! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO IS IN THE VIDEO!

apple iphone

this blog isn't intended for me to brag about the things i get and buy, nor the things that i get up to. It's just things i want to express and i apologize in advanced if i have offended anyone who has bee reading my blog and thought, "lucky bitch. why does she have to rub it in for?". So, sorry.

Anyways, no bragging intended, i got a new phone. An iphone to be exact. My original plan was to get an itouch, considering my ipod is dying on me. My next button doesn't work and in order to change songs i either have to go backwards, pick a song from the menu or scroll forward, and i dont like to mess up the order of the songs i listen to. You see, before going to bed i play a specific song that i know will help me to sleep or a song that i can dream about. And after that i like to have another song which sort of relates. So in general i dont like listening to my hard out rock songs whilst going to bed, unless its a slow rock song; nor do i like listening to stuff like Britney before going to bed, no offence.

So anyway, original plan was to get an itouch and a new phone considering my contract was going to end soon. So i suggested to my mum if i get an itouch and a touch phone like the nokia 5800? And she said why dont you get something with everything in it. And bam! IPHONE! =P

Enough about the iphone, so anyway, OH! Today at approximately 5pm the Matmobile (the car i take to uni) unfortunately broke down on Richmond Road =(. Yes tragic i know. RIP Matmobile. Also RIP Cory Aquino, i know its not the same thing, a car and a real person but the Matmobile was "like" a person. So mcuh personality =P.

Recent revelation?

I've been told many times, not just my friends but my random people who i meet like once in a lifetime and even by my own family and relatives. Don't worry it's not serious, unless your someone my age who should not in anyway be affliated with one.

I'll get to the point, so yeah as i was browsing my ipod, scrolling forward to the next song (my next button doesn't work =P) i tried to categorize my music and the genre of music i listen to most. You had your Nickelback and Bon Jovi which i categorize as Alternative Rock. Then we have Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Britney which is classified as Pop. Akon, Omarion and Eminem; Hip Hop/RnB. And then we came to the odd song here and there, like Paris Hiltons "Nothing in This World", Taylor Swifts "You Belong With Me" and Miley Cyrus's "The Climb" ("lifes a climb, but the view is great =P).

Now the trouble with these type of songs was, how can i classify them. And it hit me, TB. For anyone who doesn't know (i'm sure everyone knows) TB is the colloquial term used to define people, mainly those around the ages of 12-16, who listen to TB music, dress the TB style and act the TB way. There's pretty much one thing all TB's have in common. Two words; Edward Cullen.

So like i was saying, as i classified my Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift into my TB genre, i looked back at all my music and noticed all my music mainly in the TB genre. SHOCK! Was i a TB? Was i becoming the one thing that i despise the most in life? Twilighters and Bebo junkies? Ofcourse i was over reacting, i had a bit of a laugh at it at first. Like i said before, i've been constantly told many times how much of a TB i am, yet i've also been called a "cool" TB or as i like to call it "Mildly hot TB". In other words, not entirely a TB, but someone who still doesn't scream and faint to the floor when they hear the words, Edward Cullen.

I don't know why i hate TB's. I think it's just something people my age do, like a tradition. Trust me, when the TB's of my generation turn my age, any bet they'll be mocking the TB's of their generation. It's like in high school, you always hate the year above you, and make fun of the year below you. It's just something we've lived by.

So, yeah i admit, i listen to Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift; i go gaga over guys; and i like to take thousands of photos and i occassionally use the peace sign. Does that make me TB? I'll leave that for people to decide. But honestly, we were once like that. Think about it; their Edward Cullen was our Chad Michael Murray, their Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift was our old school Britney and Christina, their "Hoedown Throwdown" was our "Nutbush", oh and don't forgot our boyband craze. (Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Westlife =P). So i depart with:

I AM A
"MILDLY HOT TB"
